Updates

OK so I haven't blogged in a long time so here it goes. I am now thirteen and a half (yes the half is important) and in the eighth grade. I take all honors classes but I still manage to make A's with sufficient help and nudging from my parents! I love you mom and dad!!! I just took a very important writing test that could determine whether I graduate or not. Scary. I know I passed it but still... scary prospect. I love singing and playing piano and recently sang the National Anthem at a school basketball game. There were about seven cameras videotaping it and that night I got it played back to me about 7 times and it got sent by text message to someone who couldn’t make it. I'm just going to say that I felt a lot better about it before the playback (Thanks Dad!!!). I also went on a field trip to ‘recruit’ fifth graders to the music programs. The best part was definitely lunch and of course the cute boys that were there. Another thing about me…. completely boy crazy. I'm insane. Umm other updates…. My turtle that this blog was originally for. Last time I posted a pic, Seashine, who I found out is a boy, was the size of a half dollar. I now have to hold him in both hands. I have also acquired two new turtles from some friends. Both turtles are girls one of them physically challenged and neither of them named by me. Trallie is a little smaller than Seashine, and Sheldon (the physically challenged one) is probably a little smaller than the palm of my hand. I am majorly busy and rarely have time to myself and this 3-day weekend is treating me well. I’ve gotten lots of sleep! With school from 7 to 2:30, sleep is much needed and wanted. Last night’s Amazing race has further more increased my desire to travel which I discovered in my world Geography class which is by far my favorite. I love learning about the world and the people that live in it. So I want to be a traveler. Or maybe teach geography I love kids too. On an average Friday or Saturday night, I can probably be found watching someone’s kids. I love kids so babysitting is a good job for me. I also like spending time outside. We went on a hike last weekend and it was so nice and cool out. If only it was like that all year long!!! I also hope to start my garden again soon. It gets better every year. Last year we had so many tomatoes we were giving them away by the bucket. I'm hoping for another good harvest this year but we haven’t started planting yet so who knows. Alrighty I think that’s good for now. Out.
